We're a robotics club at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia, but we do so much more than just build robots.
The CircuitRunners was founded in 2002 by a group of enthusiastic students, and even today with our over 100 members, we still exhibit the same passion for spreading STEM to our community in our own events and at the competitions we participate in: BEST, FTC, GRITS, and FRC.
Our mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
Our vision is shared with Dean Kamen, founder of FIRST Robotics:
“transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes.”
We are the largest STEM club at our school.
Everyday, we inspire students at our school to learn more about robotics, and we teach them valuable skills that they'll use in their future careers.
We strive to educate our community and the world about STEM.
CircuitRunners supports an outreach section, completely devoted to education and sparking interest in robotics and engineering.
